Hey there! Nice to meet you! Let me introduce myself: I'm Mayyar Shehzadi and I have put together this site myself by coding and hosting it. I am a self-taught 15 year old frontend web developer and writer. My pen name is May Roland and I know basic HTML, CSS and JavaScript (the languages used to create a simple, static enough website) and web hosting, too. Right now I am busy coding with Python. However, that's not the only thing I am interested in; my second interest is writing. I love note-taking apps and my favourite word processor is Apple Pages. My favourite operating systems are Linux Ubuntu, Android (if that isn't a distro of Linux, being based on the Linux Kernal) and iOS. Basically I am mostly the FOSS (Free Open Source Software) loving guy. I am an iFan too, because I use Pages, iMovie and Garageband. Despite that, I have planned to create another website where I can just enter the URL, input the password and access my apps' web version. It could be handy for usage at school if I need access to my apps in one click. The home page could show clickable icons of my apps. It could even welcome me back; for I plan to create my own special AI assistant using Google's API Dialogflow. Though I have to admit, I am still learning more about APIs. Besides that, I love writing with HTML and Markdown. They are both good markup boyz to use.
I also like drawing. There's something really addictive about drawing characters. It feels satisfying. While I don't exactly really do sketching, but I am more of a cartoonist. You can see my drawings here on this page. I draw mostly digitally. I aslo doodle in my note-taking app often, just for the fun of it. And with frame-by-frame animation (flipbook animation, I guess), a drawing can be converted into an animation. I also love reading a lot. The first thing I could do entering a room is to look for a board where words are written.
Other things I love include programming, trying to play the piano in Garageband, or taming my budgies. I have got two budgies. I used to own two before but sadly, they passed away this year. Now I am trying my best to tame them and I have to admit; they do land on my hand! The book, Happenings 3 is solely based on my previous two parakeets. So that's it for now for my about section. Bye!
